Joiku-Kotsamo was established in 1991. It is a private trader company, domiciled in Sodankylä, and the main business is program service. Handling passenger information and keeping the passenger register is based on the law on accommodation and nutrition activities. The registry deals with information on logged-in passengers.

5. A criterion of processing of personal data

Law on accommodation and nutrition activities 308/2006: The information is stored in the information system. Users have no personal usernames only overheads. The information on the system is accessible and used only by the controller’s persons in which their work is entitled to.

    • 6) Arrival date and departure date of the passenger. When participating in a group trip, there is a group travel declaration with corresponding information.

    As a user of services you have the legal right to get information about what data about you is stored and who deals with your information. In addition, you can check you the information we collect and, if necessary, upgrade them up to date. You will get your information deleted from our systems or you can limit their processing. If you need more information about processing your personal information, we will ask you to contact the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland.
